Waar producer Hassan Waqas Rana’s highly anticipated film Yalghaar has got another highlight – an Oscar-winning UK based visual effects house Peerless Camera Company has been taken on board for film’s post-production.

Making a directorial debut with 'Yalghaar', Rana who has also and produced the film was immensely delighted to reveal this update in an exclusive interview with HIP.

“You’ll be happy to know that an Oscar-winning VFX company, Peerless, has been signed up for film’s post production which is certainly an honour for us,” he said.

Rana has also teamed up with technical crew of internationally awarded sci-fic movie ‘Gravity’ for colour-grading of his film.

“We have just landed a deal with a man who did ‘grading’ for space odyssey ‘Gravity'. He will be the one giving the final look to ‘Yalghaar’,” he said.

The director added that it’s a huge deal for Pakistani cinema to be affiliated with such big names of international entertainment industry.

Peerless has been the creative genius behind many international projects such as Skyfall, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Kingsman and Edge of Darkness.

Claimed as the most expensive film of Pakistani cinema, ‘Yalghaar’ stars showbiz bigwigs including Shaan Shahid, Adnan Siddiqui, Humayun Saeed and Bilal Ashraf.

Based on real incidents happened during Swat Operations the film will also feature journalist turned actor Sana Bucha as a war reporter along with Dubai based actress Alizeh Naser, Ayesha Omer and Armeena Rana Khan.
