Once the most widely watched channel of Pakistan, Geo News has lost another loyal employee as its famous anchorperson Sana Mirza has resigned and joined Jaag TV .

Journalism Pakistan has reported that Mirza was out of sight for several months and apparently it was during those days that she had decided to make the switch.

The excited newscaster made this announcement through a tweet.

According to sources she will host a current affairs show on the new channel.

Starting her career as a radio jockey Mirza joined Geo as an anchorperson almost a decade ago. She has also worked for Voice of America for some time.
