After a hiatus of a few years, the original queen of morning shows Nadia Khan, is making another comeback on television – and once again her first choice is none other than her home channel Geo.

Since Utho Jago Pakistan's former host Shaista Lodhi left the channel after the shadi fiasco, Khan appears to be an obvious choice for Geo.

The new morning show will air in the first week of September, an insider confirmed to HIP.

An official deal between the channel and Khan has already been reached and program promos will soon start.

As per HIP's source, the channel earlier thought to have the multifaceted Bushra Ansari host the show this upcoming Independence Day and then after a few weeks, have Khan take over. That has now been changed and Nadia Khan will host the morning transmission from the start.

Khan's morning show career actually started out with ARY Digital's Breakfast with Nadia which turned her into a household name. She later made her way to Geo Network where The Nadia Khan Show took the television world by storm and broke ratings records everywhere. It was evident that Nadia Khan had arrived and was here to stay.

The Nadia Khan Show had all of a sudden stopped airing for reasons unknown a few years back. In 2012 and 2013 she tried again to make a comeback with a late night show, but it didn’t quite make the impact needed with the audience, and that too was cancelled.

With Shaista Lodhi starting her own morning show on Hum TV, Khan is once again back in the morning show business and it will be interesting to see which one of these beautiful ladies will win audiences' hearts. Lets not forget Nida Yasir also has her Good Morning Pakistan on ARY in the competition.

Geo Kahani also has a new host

While Geo entertainment is planning a morning show with Nadia Khan, Geo Kahani has already aired promos of its new morning show with former news anchor Madiha Naqvi.

Naqvi used to host morning show on Geo Tez after leaving her job as a newscaster on the channel. She joined Bol News as a senior content manager and anchorperson but left it after a while.

The excited host recently shared the promo on her personal Facebook page.
