Looks like morning shows will see a resurgence of interest from Independence Day onwards.

While Shaista Lodhi's 'Sitaray Ki Subha' has been causing a major distraction with its larger than life billboards sprawled across the city, the news of Nadia Khan rejoining Geo as its morning show host from September has also been making rounds on the web circuit. And if all of this wasn't enough, we have now just discovered that Capital TV will start its brand new morning show with a brand new host- Amna Malik, this Friday.

The bubbly host who has quite a fan following took to the social media a few hours back to update her friends and fans alike about the latest development in her television career and many of them were seen congratulating and wishing her all the best.

Hosting for Malik is not a new gig as the vivacious beauty has hosted morning shows at quite a few top channels, including Jaag TV, Dunya News, and Abb Takk. However, it will certainly be interesting to see who will impress the audience the most with their hosting skills; the already existing ones, the ones who are making a comeback, or the ones switching channels.
