Lux Style Awards (LSA) winner Ayeza Khan and the forever young and handsome actor Imran Abbas have been selected by Yasir Nawaz to play the lead role in his upcoming drama serial Tum Kon Piya, a source close to Nawaz confirmed.

The shooting will begin by November 15. Produced by Abdullah Kadwani, Tum Kon Piya is a family-oriented drama serial based on Maha Malik's novel. Malik is known for her socio-romantic stories. Currently, one of her scripts Mere Jeevan Saathi - starring Hareem Farooq, Hassan Niazi and Gohar Rasheed - is airing on ARY Digital.

But this is a comeback for Ayeza Khan and let's not snatch her glory. Khan had decided to take a break - to get married and have a baby - after giving her career-best performance in Pyare Afzal. She became a household name as the audience gave dirty looks to Afzal's Farah (name of her character in Pyare Afzal) and sometimes even resorted to curses as she tortured poor Afzal. Her character gathered much hate (and some love) but Ayeza Khan as an actress became permanent member of the 'Pakistani top actors' club'. She received the Best Actress (Satellite) at the recently held LSAs which further cemented her place in the industry.

Imran Abbas on the other hand, has been the opposite of Ayeza Khan for the past two years. He debuted in Bollywood against Bipasha Basu in Creature 3D, then he was seen in Alvida opposite Sanam Jung on Hum TV and recently he's playing this annoying bivi ka ghulam in ARY Digital's play Aitraz. Abbas is also doing a cameo in Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushqil. He's one busy man.

Yasir Nawaz has proven himself as one of the best directors in the industry with serials like Shuk, Saat Pardon Mein, Chup Raho and his remake of Lollywood classic Anjuman got him the Best Director award at the Tarang Houseful Awards. His debut film Wrong Number also made it's presence felt at the box office.
