If you thought Humayun Saeed will no longer appear on your television screen again then think again, because the veteran actor is coming back to the small screen for Dillagi.

Dillagi is slated to go air in 2016 and will see Humayun Saeed reuniting with Nadeem Baig, director of his recent blockbuster movie Jawani Phir Nahin Aani. The drama serial is written by Faiza Iftikhar.

Speaking about why he chose Dillagi as his comeback project, Humayun Saeed said,

“It is one of the best scripts I have come across in a very long time. Faiza Iftikhar has written it very well; in fact it wouldn’t be wrong to say this is one of her best works till date."

He went on to further state,

"Then of course Nadeem is directing it. I have always preferred to do projects that have very well put together teams, which is why Dillagi felt like the perfect serial to do after a break of four years,"

We had a hunch that Baig had a role in Saeed's comeback and it looks like we were right.

Dillagi is going to be produced by Humayun Saeed’s own production house 'Six Sigma Plus'. Fans can rejoice as his leading co-actor in the serial will be Mehwish Hayat. The duo was seen together recently in Jawani Phir Nahin Aani where they were praised for their on-screen chemistry.

It has been a very successful year for the star who just gave two back-to-back blockbusters (Bin Roye and JPNA) at the box office, and 2016 is already shaping into a very exciting year with some very interesting projects in the pipeline.
