It isn't yet Mahira Khan's birthday, but the team of Sanam Baloch's Morning Show gave its viewers something to celebrate in advance this morning by inviting the Ho Maan Jahan actress on the show.
Dressed in a black outfit with silver earnings, she was warmly welcomed by the host, Sanam Baloch. The show kicked off with a usual conversation about Khan’s film career to which she graciously gave full credit of her performance to the directors she has worked with.
“I think a director plays a major role in creating a fabulous image of actor on-screen. He has a certain image for a character and helps an actor to fit perfectly in that image like a glove by giving constant feedback on their acting and looks,” she said.
Sanam Baloch asked Khan some interesting questions from the audience like who according to her best suits the roles of Adeel Hussain and Shehreyar Munawar in the film.
Khan intelligently tackled all these questions with diplomatic answers. However, she maintained that Humayun Saeed was obviously a not-so–good option because it’s a story of college students.
Here are our five favorite moments from the show:
When Mahira Khan called herself an accident-prone person
Recalling an old incident, she said that during the shoot in Chiratal, she accidentally dropped a cup of tea on her jeans. It was freezing cold in the city and she didn’t have an extra wardrobe to replace it.
“Asim often says that wherever I go, I become a reason of an accident. I am basically an accident prone person and often throw away thing that comes in my way,” she said in a lighter mood.
Resham is a talented actress: Mahira
During a game in the show, Mahira Khan chose a card which stated that film star Resham should bid aideu to acting. Khan did not at all agree with that statement saying,
“Resham is a talented actress and she should never leave acting at all.”
Khan’s brother is her best friend
The actress is a complete family person who loves spending time with the people she is close to in her life. She considered her brother as her best friend.
"Although my brother is only a year younger than me, we enjoy a very interesting relationship. When we were abroad for studies, we used to look after each other. Even at times I used to pamper him like a mom so yes, more than a brother is a great friend and like a son to me,” the emotional Khan said.
