'Mor Mahal' looks like yet another Sarmad Khoosat masterpiece

I know, I know, terming a project a masterpiece before it's even released is a bit boastful, but just have a look at this first look. Look at it! Doesn't it look like a masterpiece?

Meesha Shafi shared the first look on her Instagram account wowing us all. The setting is majestic and so is her outfit by Ali Xeeshan. She explained what Mor Mahal was all about in the caption. Directed by Sarmad Khoosat, drama serial, Mor Mahal is a Sarmad Sehbai script, and will air on Geo.

"A groundbreaking, revolutionary period drama, an epic fantasy set 200 years back, exploring the culture and lifestyle of the subcontinental royals of centuries past," Shafi stated.

Meesha Shafi will appear on screen after seven years and according to her, "When everyone was doing TV I ventured into films. Now when everyone is doing cinema I'm going to be on the telly. What can I say..... I like swimming against the current."

She's surely one daredevil soul. Apart from Shafi and Jaswal, the drama serial reportedly includes stars like Sania Saeed, Fizza Ali, Ali Saleem and more.

Khoosat is known for giving commercial hits like Humsafar, and artsy ones like Manto; let's see if Mor Mahal is a blend of both or tilts towards the artsy side. The poster suggests the latter.
