The smell of fresh, crisp lawn ( the wearable kind) fills the air as March approaches. The 'it aunties' are seen flaunting them fresh off the thaans, marriage halls turn into Lawn exhibition halls, but it is our billboards that undergo the most glaring makeover.

Local celebs selling banaspatis take a backseat and Bollywood hotties like Kareena Kapoor, Nargis Fakhri, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Amy Jackson are seen flaunting million yards of dupattas. It seemed quite apt to list down which brand's dupatta are they going to swirl and twirl this season.
Se here we go guys.
Nargis Fakhri for Shehla Chatoor
First up is Fakhri because she announced her association with Chatoor's lawn a few hours ago on Instagaram. While we like the location with pebbles, water and all; the print the Buddha-like figure is wearing looks a bit dull in terms of color.
This is going to be chatoor's debut in the lawn arena. She has partnered with Shariq Textile Mills for the lawn collection and aims to bring her signature luxury feel to the masses.
Kareena Kapoor for Faraz Manan
Manan has definitely done some voodoo magic on Mrs. Nawab as no other brand has been able to snatch Kapoor away from their lawn brand, Crescent, over the past few seasons. One of the most fashionable ladies of B town wore the Pakistani brand recently to some of her formal events and promotions and we're super proud of that.
Jacqueline Fernandez for Zainab Chottani
The Sri Lankan model and actress looked absolutely gorgeous in Chottani's collection last summer and she promises to do that once again.
Amy Jackson for Saira Rizwan
The (relatively) new kid on the block Amy Jackson has also been zero-ed down by Saira Rziwan. I must say, Rizwan's lawn collection seems most fresh and impressive with pastel shades and digital prints. Yes, so Jackson may just have outdone the leading ladies of Bollywood.

Nidhi Sunil for Elan
Nidhi Sunil isn't exactly a 'Bollywood celebrity', but she's Indian and is stunning, so she makes it to the list. Sunil is the face for Elan's Spring/Summer collection. With Elan at the wheel and photography and styling done by Nadir Firoz Khan and Maha Burney; the campaign might just give rest of the designer's a run for their money.
While this is it from the Bollywood-esque lawn arena, our own celebrities like Sanam Saeed will be seen endorsing Farah Talib Aziz's Crimson Lawn. Also, renowned designers like Ali Xeeshan and Feeha Jamshed will also be debuting this season so for a change I'm all eyes for the upcoming lawn collections.
