With movies galore releasing left, right and centre, Pakistani cinema really seems to have picked up pace in the last year. And July seems to be the month of Lollywood revival with films like Blind Love and Sawal 700 Crore Dollar Ka to hit screens this Eidul Fitr. Apparently, that's not all - Noor Bukhari's directorial debut Ishq Positive is also set to hit cinemas across the country on July 22nd.
The film that will be released by 'Eveready Pictures' under the banner of 'Hum Films', will see an ensemble star cast; apart from Noor Bukhari and singer-turned-actor Wali Hamid Khan in lead roles, Saud (the antagonist), Durdana Butt, Saim Ali, Ahmed Abdul Rehman (who will also be seen in Jawad Bashir's Teri Meri Love Story) and debutant artists will also be seen in supporting roles.
HIP got in touch with Wali Hamid, who described the film to be a non stop comedy romantic, and here's what he had to say:
"It's basically a love triangle between Noor, myself and Saud," the actor disclosed. "You can expect an amazing soundtrack and great one-liners throughout the film. We had Indian lyricists on board, along with few of Pakistan's most gifted musicians. Hence, I'm sure the soundtrack is definitely something to look forward to."
The film that will completely revolve around Noor's quirky and fun-loving character is set to start its promotions by next week, whereas the official poster will also be released very soon.
