But we still have one more gem from Amjad Sabri. Khan and Sabri's collaboration, Aaj Rung Hai, will air in Coke Studio’s season 9. The qawali has been produced by Shani Arshad and a production crew member told The Express Tribune that the” duo nailed the track in one go unlike others artistes who do multiple takes to perfect their songs.”

Aamna Isani, a renowned journalist and blogger shared what Sabri had said about the performance featuring him and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

“About 40 years ago, my father and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan read this kalaam at a dargah in Karachi and 40 years later, Rahat and I are reading it again,” Sabri reminisced.

The qawali will be a fitting tribute to the renowned qawali singer and the nice person that Amjad Sabri was.
