While Humsafar's ruggedly handsome 'Khizar' aka Noor Hassan Rizvi will be seen as the hero, the pretty and petite, Sanam Chaudhry will be taking the role of lead heroine. They both share a mesmerizing off-screen chemistry and were also seen together in Hum TV's hit drama serial, Tere Mere Beech. Giving us an insight into how Rizvi landed himself with the film, he told HIP:

"Well, we are going on floors next month. It's basically a romantic comedy where I'm playing the central character in the film," Rizvi said while revealing the details about the film.

The actor, while talking about his character and his traits in the film added,

"My character is an extremely hilarious guy, and the film on a whole is a lot of fun. It has all the elements that make up for an entertaining watch and I'm sure the audience will appreciate it."

To elaborate further, we also got in touch with the director of upcoming project, Shoaib Khan. While talking to HIP, he disclosed:

"Well I had always wanted to make a film. We planned a film called Rangeen a couple of years back, but since the scene wasn't as clear as it is today, it got shelved. Me and my partner, Khurram Riaz have been planning this film for almost a year now and we are beginning the shoot in August. It is basically a non-stop comedy thriller that revolves around a couple of characters' struggle to win a lottery, hence the title 100 Crore".

Apart from television sensations and real-life best friends, Noor Hassan and Sanam Chaudhry, the film has an ensemble star cast, which includes veterans Javed Sheikh and Ismail Tara as prominent characters. Film-star, Sana Fakher and Pakistan's favourite film antagonist, Adnan Shah Tipu of Josh and Maalik fame will also be seen essaying supporting roles.

Interestingly, Indian model and actress, Reyhana Malhotra, who has appeared in several Indian television soaps and Bollywood films such as, Babloo Happy Hai and Antha Scene Ladu will also be seen making her debut on this side of the border with 100 Crore. She will be seen romancing Dillagi famed newcomer Inayat Khan, as the second lead pair.

While the music will be composed by renowned Pakistani composer Naveed Nashad, Indian DOP, Anubhav Bhansal will be managing the cinematography for the project. Reportedly, the first spell of the film is slated to begin next month in Phuket, Thailand.

As the film starts it's rapid journey towards completion, here's hoping that 100 Crore is able to live up to our expectations and proves to be a solid-entertainer that Pakistan seems to be in desperate need of, and not another forgettable Sawal 700 Crore Dollar Ka!
