Yes! You read that right - Geo TV's seemingly favourite hero, Sami Khan and the multi-faceted writer and actor, Yasir Hussain of Karachi Se Lahore fame, are all set for their debut on the other side of the border. While Hussain, the mastermind behind Ho Mann Jahaan's brilliant dialogues and some of Pakistan's most recent theatre hits, is all geared up to play a stereotypical Indian boy-next-door in the film, Khan takes the lead.

Speaking to HIP exclusively, Hussain confirmed the news and also revealed that the two flew from Karachi to Mumbai just yesterday. The actor, had previously been in Lahore to shoot for a cameo appearance in Shaan Shahid's directional venture, Arth 2. The film that also stars Humaima Malick, Mohib Mirza and Uzma Hassan, is all set to hit your nearest cinema screens this fall for which Hussain had a wonderful experience in shooting for a 'fun' appearance.

Apart from Hussain's cameo in the film, the actor will also be seen in Lahore Se Aagey, which is all set to release this November. Not only that, the actor will also star in Yasra Rizvi's cinematic debut, Senti Aur Mental which starts production, post his return to Pakistan.

Now one has to see whether Khan, who had previously been seen in old-school Lollywood films such as Salakhain and Dil Paraye Des Main, can mark his comeback to the silver screen and the budding film scene with the new venture along with Hussain. Time will tell!
