Shaan Shahid's brain child, Arth 2, is all set to enter into its last spell for which the entire cast including Shaan, Mohib Mirza, Humaima Malik and Uzma Hassan will be flying to London.

Shaan, after sabbatical of over half a decade, has taken the director's seat for his up-coming directorial venture Arth 2, but this time, the actor took up the producer and screenplay writer's seat as well. Ali Murtaza and Hammad Chaudhry are there too support him in the production department as co-producers.

After his last directorial venture Zill-e-Shah, Shaan is back in form as a director; however, this will be his first time as a writer. Maybe, the actor wants to follow his father Riaz Shahid's footsteps who was a famous director and writer of his time.

A source close to Shaan Shahid exclusively told HIP that the film is about to enter its final spell of 10 to 12 days in London. The team will leave for London in the third week of August after which Arth 2 will go for final editing and grading.

When we asked about the release date, the source said that the producers will reveal the date once the last spell is shot and the film enters post production phase.

Arth 2 will be Shahid's first movie as director in the new age of cinema and Zarrar - a work under process - will be his second. Earlier, he has directed films like Mujhe Chaand Chahiye and Guns And Roses while his last film as director was Zill-e-Shah back in 2008.
