Umar Sharif to make a comeback on TV

Umar Sharif is a name that is synonymous with comedy and one liners that will leave you in fits of laughter. He has been a part of several iconic stage productions throughout his career, such as Bakra Qistoon Pay, Flight 420 and Lotay or Laefafay, hence, he has managed to form a huge fan following over the years. Well, all of his fans are in luck as the comedian is now back to put a smile on your faces! Sharif is all set to make a comeback, with his much famous late night show The Umar Sharif Show on NewsOne.

Close sources revealed, the show is still in its shooting process and will air earlier next year, every weekend at 11 pm. The format will be quite the same as before, and we are sure Sharif will still be able to make us cry tears of laughter.

Sharif has developed a tremendous fan following not only in Pakistan, but world over. He is considered to be a legend in both theater and comedy and is called "the King of Comedy" in South Asia. The comedian also proved his talent across the border, when he became a guest judge for one of the episodes of the comedy show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge.
