Having become huge fans of her when she appeared along with Atiqa Odho in Sitara Aur Mehrunissa we since then have watched every single play of Sania Saeed with great interest and enthusiasm. Recently her work in Mor Mahal, Sang-e-Mar Mar and Sammi has been greatly appreciated by all but that is not the reason why we are talking about her today. In fact, we wanted to share our excitement with you as Sania Saeed will once again be appearing in a drama along with Atiqa Odho after a gap of 20 years!
Can you believe how quickly time flies? The duo who mesmerised everyone in the 90s is currently shooting for upcoming drama Piyari Bitto which is written by Saji Gul and directed by Mazhar Moin.
With us wanting to know more about the project we got in touch with Sania Saeed and here is what she shared with us,
“It is the first time that I am working with Saji Gul and I am also very excited to be working with Atiqa after such a long gap as well as with Rashid Farooqi with whom I last worked some 15 odd years ago or so”
Wanting to know more about the plot, we asked Sania exactly that,
“I can't reveal too much about it as yet but the basic theme revolves around an entanglement of two generations which will make it a complicated story,” she said.
We are already looking forward to watching it as it does sound different indeed. With us wanting to know a bit about Piyari Bitto we also asked Sania Saeed about how she found shooting for this particular drama?
“I am very happy doing Piyari Bitto because there is such fresh energy on the set that one enjoys coming to work. The team is also fantastic, another thing which I like is that through this play I am also getting a chance to work with Nayyar Ejaz for the first time as well as with my two favourite actresses Farah Shah, Sania Shamshad and Fawad who is from theatre”
With a very talented cast on board and of course a script penned down by Saji Gul we are sure Piyari Bitto will be loved by the audiences once it goes on air as currently, the team is busy with its shooting in Karachi.
