Being avid watchers of dramas there comes a time when one wants to see something different and takes us away from the normal course of life. We all are aware of this latest trend, where couples have lost the zeal to make marriages work and at times when have fallen out of love they prefer to seek it from somewhere else. Now where we usually hear men going for this option Tau Dil Ka kya Hua turns the tables by showing a woman take this bold step, declaring to everyone, including her parents that she loved Saif and not her husband Faris!
With three episodes down, the drama written by Khalil ur Rehman Qamar, no one can really pinpoint fingers and say oh so this is how it will end. So let us fill you in with all the details as to what happened in last night's episode.
Faris (Sami Khan) is trying to put up a brave face but honestly he's broken as he doesn't understand why would Maya (Ayeza Khan), wants to divorce him when all he has ever done is love her. With him wanting to celebrate her birthday by cutting the cake and then saying the final bye, Maya backs out from the meeting as she is too busy having a romantic dinner with Saif (Zahid Ahmed).
Now Zahid Ahmed is the Casanova having a good time with Maya. Saif is brilliant with his flirting, making Maya feel special made us think that he loved her too, but the twist in the story comes when we discovered he was paid a crore by Muzna to break Faris and Maya's marriage because she wanted to marry Faris herself. Now with the divorce going ahead, she decides to marry Saif, leaving Maya in the middle of nowhere!
Being quite a plot, it also shows to never underestimate the power of a broken heart. With Saif having no choice but to marry Muzna, since her father (Behroz Sabzwari) seems like a tough guy, and to save himself from a untimely death, he agrees to let go of Maya. But we know Maya is one head strong lady, therefore she decides to go to Saif and ask him why did he met Muzna. Will he tell her the truth or use his charm to wriggle his way out of this situation, is what we can't wait to see next week.
Direction by Shahid Shaffat is good, as he has a brilliant set of actors on board who bring their own charm to the play. With Imran Ashraf also part of this play as Tipu, even the few scenes that he is in stand out the most. Noor Khan on the other hand as Maya's sister, is nothing exciting. Sami Khan and Mansha Pasha have that versatility to portray each of their respective characters brilliantly.
