Celebrities mourn over the latest Lahore attack

TTP claimed responsibility for yesterday's blast in the city.

Lahore was once again the target of a suicide attack, whose responsibility has been claimed by the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). The purpose was to target the Punjab police, which resulted in the deaths of 26 people. Among them were 9 policemen and dozens of people were also wounded when a suicide bomber detonated the explosives he was carrying at Kot Lakhpat Sabzi Mandi near Arfa Karim Software Technology Park. Celebrities took to their social media pages to mourn over this unfortunate event in the city.

The Parwaaz Hai Junoon star Hamza Ali Abbasi called for unity and strength to keep on fighting this menace and prayed for the victims' families.

Fahad Mustafa sympathized with the victims and asked Allah to bless our country.

Before going live on her show, Juggun Kazim left a message on her Instagram saying how difficult it was to smile on a day like this.

Even the famous duo Athar Shehzad, prayed for Lahore along with Sami khan and Waqar Younis.

Humayun Saeed is currently in Lahore for the promotion of his movie Punjab Nahi Jaunge and like other celebrities, also expressed anger and sadness.

With Kabul also facing many casualties in a recent attack, Malala Yousafzai condemned these recent attacks.
