Armeena Khan wins The Female Empowerment Award in London

The stunning actress dedicated the win to her supporters, parents and siblings.

This year has been good to Armeena Khan. Her movie Yalghaar saw international release, her play Rasm-e-Dunya has had a good run and, she got engaged to long time friend, Fesl Khan. Now the pretty actress has another reason to celebrate, as she just won the Female Empowerment Award in London, which makes us super excited for her!

Wrapped in a gorgeous saari and accompanied by her fiance Fesl, Khan won the award for work behind the scenes with various organizations in the UK. And what we thought was utterly sweet was her dedicating the win to all her supporters, her parents and siblings. While giving her speech, Fesl looked immensely proud.

Did you know, Armeena khan is also the first Pakistani actor to walk the Cannes red carpet in 2013 for her British film called Writhe and it was in 2015 that we got to see Armeena in her debut Pakistani movie Bin Roye which later on also got made in to a play staring herself, Humayun Saeed and Mahira Khan on Hum TV.

With her winning everyone's hearts in the movie Janaan too last year, HIP would like to congratulate Armeena on the award she just received and here is to many more such achievements in the future.
