92 News, Pakistan’s most watched Urdu- language news channel is all set to launch in the UK in December, as it accelerates global growth plans and in time to challenge news broadcasters like BBC and Al Jazeera.

The launch, which the 92 News recognizes as the most important since its official launch in Lahore back in 2015, is the first step towards a wider European expansion, where it hopes to see itself in more countries around the globe in the future.

Although the channel has signed many deals within Pakistan, the UK launch clearly marks the first time it has set up business options outside the country, hiring a dozen of executives for marketing purposes.

Just like top broadcasters talk about their countries from their lens, soon 92 News might do the same for a Pakistani world view. Although its first initiative would be to focus on Pakistani news, however in time 92 News will develop original programming to appeal to UK and global audiences.
