Where the viewers are given the choice to watch dramas based on love and family politics, right there from time to time it is important to educate the audiences on issues which matter to create awareness. One such topic is of domestic abuse which seems to be on the rise in the country as tolerance is something which has begun to lack in a marriage. And with Hum TV presenting their latest drama called Zun Mureed based on women protection bill, we're more than excited to watch and learn what the drama has to offer.
Teasers of the drama have started doing rounds on the channel and from the looks of it, Zun Mureed is going to be one fantastic and very intense play.
With the cast comprising of Nadia Khan and Omair Rana who are a happy couple with children, it is surprising to see him change as he begins to abuse his wife which results in her calling the police on him. And this is why the teaser is so impactful as it will educate the women, who, sadly, are victims of abuse but never have the courage or information to call for help in genuine cases.
Besides the duo whom we must say are taking an initiative to work in dramas which hopefully will make a difference amongst the masses, Nadia Khan and Omair Rana are versatile actors who don't like to stick to run of the mill story lines as seen in their work in plays like Aisi Hai Tanhai and O Rangreza.
Written by Amna Mufti , the drama also stars Hina Bayat, Shamim Hilali and Khalid Anum to name a few in its cast.
With the first episode all set to air from 2nd March on Hum TV, we are looking forward to reviewing Zun Mureed soon as we hope that it succeeds in making a powerful impact as intended.
