Our very own model cum actress Tooba Siddiqui is back to television screen after a small hiatus with upcoming drama serial Tum Se Taluq Hai, all set to be aired on Geo Entertainment.
Tooba has always given us stellar performances on screen and we admired her intense acting in her previous drama Ilteja alongside Affan Waheed. The actress also left the audience awe-struck with her performance in the movie Dobara Phir Se.
Now she is all set to grace our television screens again alongside Syed Jibran in Tum Se Taluq Hai. The duo has worked together earlier as well and shares a good chemistry on screen.
From the first look of the drama, the story seems to be another run of the mill. The official teaser released by Geo Entertainment, shows Tooba and Jibran as a problematic couple. Jibran is into extra-marital affair with another lady played by Faryal Mehmood and is deceiving his wife.
When Tooba discovers the affair between Faryal and her husband going on behind her back, she tells Jibran that she had made their house by accumulating trinkets after trinkets and he ruined it all at once; to this Jibran replies that it is Tooba who is responsible for the collapse. This deep dialogue hints at something very serious that has brought them to this point. Well, we have to wait till the first episode is aired to have an idea about the actual problem between the couple.
Though the plot of the drama seems to be quite typical, this 7th Sky Entertainment production is definitely going to garner attention from the audiences on the back of its everyday relatable story which does not offer much complexity. People love to watch stories about relationships as they somehow feel real to them, hence the drama will presumably earn good ratings from viewers.
Scripted by Wasi Shah, the drama has not yet been given a final title. Tum Se Taluq Hai is its working title which might be changed.
While Tooba Siddiqui and Syed Jibran have always stunned us with their past performances, let’s see what the duo has to offer the viewers in their next serial. Stay tuned to find out more.
