Ali Zafar – after making quite a wave earlier for Teefa in Trouble is now all set to be a part of another project this year; this time as a singer though.
According to sources, Channo fame singer has recorded Aafat Macha Dey – an upbeat song – for Amna Ilyas starrer Ready Steady No. The film is the first feature project of indie filmmaker Hisham Bin Munawar and will also be starring debutant Faisal Saif alongside Amna.
The movie is a rom-com, revolving around Amna and Faisal’s love life who now want to get married. The film – which was earlier going to be a 2016 release and delayed – is now said to be release by the end of this year.
What is being called as a hip-chick song, with Urdu, English and Punjabi slangs is composed by Baqir Abbas who has previously collaborated with Ali for Teefa in Trouble songs. Along with the movie – which is still going strong on box office – the songs of Teefa have also garnered praise due to their strong composition and Ali’s vocals. This time again the duo is at it, and predictions are that Aafat Macha Dey will be another topper on the charts.
Let's see if Aafat Macha Dey is able to live upto its name among the fans, and how Ali performance matches to that of Teefa in Trouble.
