Yesterday in a mugging incident, Umer Adil and Beenish Waiz Umer, Director-Producer duo of Syra Shehroze starrer Chaley Thay Saath have lost their elder daughter Amal. Recently, Beenish has also worked as Set Designer and Art Director for Coke Studio Season 11.

The heart wrenching news was shared by the duo’s close friend Amena Khan, who informed that the little Amal was shot in the incident and passed away.

The couple also has a younger daughter Anya and both Beenish and Umer are often seen sharing pictures of their beautiful family.

We at HIP pray for Beenish, Umer and their family in this tough time of grief. May they get the patience to endure this trauma and the little angel’s soul is blessed in heaven. Indeed a sad day for the fraternity and nation.
