Moor famed director Jami Mahmood has treated fans this Eid with an intriguing 90-second teaser of his upcoming film Jugnu. From the looks of it, the film seems to bring out a very gentle and deep story.
Shot in the beautiful landscapes and lush-green fields of Sindh, the film has been proclaimed as ‘a fascinating tale of love, loss and selflessness.’
Though the teaser doesn’t reveal much about the story, Jugnu revolves around a young boy named Bhura, his love for goats and his tense relationship with his mother. On the other side of the story, there is a couple who are seen romancing in a beautiful field. How are Bhura and the couple connected? Why is Bhura’s relationship with his mother strained? Has it got something to do with his love for goats? We just can’t predict much about the storyline and will have to wait for the trailer.
The haunting and eerie sound track by Sketches blends well with the theme of the film. Though the film has been penned and directed by Ali Abbas Naqvi, the story belongs to Jami himself.
The beguiling teaser has left us wanting for more but the release date of the movie has not yet been announced.
