Veteran film and TV actress Resham recently passed a controversial comment on Prime Minister Imran Khan’s ex-wife Reham Khan calling her ‘worst example of a woman.’ Her comment took social media by storm and went viral within a few hours.
“Reham Khan is the worst example of a woman and Jemima Goldsmith is the best,” Resham had said in an interview.
The actress has now clarified her statement through a short-video clip in which she said outright that she does not hold any personal grudge against Reham and that her comment was presented in a negative sense by media.
She said that her comment on Reham Khan was a reply to a question asked by the interviewer. “I also said a few things before and after that comment but the media just took one sentence and made it viral,” Resham added.
Resham further added that she was hurt by the fact that Reham had associated her name with Imran Khan, in a very scurvy matter, in her recently-released book.
“Every artist deserves the right to negate any false allegation imposed on him/her and I just did that, I do not hold any personal enmity with Reham,” the actress said. “Short cuts and cheap fame has never been my aim,” concluded Resham.
