Chand Tara Orchestra who garnered a lot of attention for its music in the recent Coke Studio installment, have never seized to amaze their fans with their independent music as well. This time the band has released their take on popular Persian song Nami Danam as an unplugged version and we are wowed!

Sitting on vocals is Sherry - popularly known for television show - who has a melodious voice catering to the music composition brilliantly composed by Chand Tara Orchestra. While Sherry's accent is a bit of miss at some points (mispronounced lyrics) the overall performance is quite interesting.

Our favorite bit from the Nami Danam take is the centre of the song where instrumentals specially harmonica is played. In all honesty, we haven't heard a harmonica played so well in a while. Two thumbs up to the team for bringing that beautiful edition in their take of the classic song.

All in all, we are definitely listening to this raw version of OCT's Nami Danam to soothe our ears from the regular noise. If you too like a fusion take on classic songs, fan of Persian poetry and just have a knick for good music then we suggest you tune in to it too!
