Popular lyricist and writer Javed Akhter is all set to visit Pakistan this year alongside his wife, popular actress Shabana Azmi on the 15th of November. The duo is arriving in Pakistan to attend the 4th Faiz International Festival.

The Faiz International Festival is held every year to celebrate the birth anniversary of Faiz Ahmed Faiz. Faiz Mela is going to be held on 16th to 18th November.

Both Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhter have applied for visa but await its processing. If approved, Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhter will land in Pakistan on the 15th of November. Shabana Azmi is expected to return on 16th November whereas Javed Akhther will return on 18th November.

4th Faiz international festival will see literary prominents!

Javed Akhter and Shabana Azmi are not the only popular Bollywood personalities coming to Lahore this year. Renowned Bollywood producer, Rakesh Sabharwal, will also be visiting Lahore for a press conference regarding the Shan-e-Pakistan international music awards, scheduled to be held on 22nd March 2019. Earlier Pakistan was visited by a number of Bollywood filmmakers Ashwini Malik, Nandita Das amongst others, and actress Juhi Chawla this year.
