Aisam ul Haq Featured In The Prestigious '50 Years/50 Heroes' of Tennis Issue

Where our Pakistani cricket team is busy enjoying its title for undefeated T20 champions, Aisam ul Haq is making the nation proud of his achievements in tennis. Having won the most Davis Cup matches for the country as well as be the most successful singles and doubles player, we were thrilled when we discovered recently that he has been featured in the latest edition of 50 years/50 heroes of tennis list.
Having taken to his social media to announce the news, Aisam wrote,"Feeling really humbled, blessed, honoured, grateful and proud to be named in the 50 years / 50 heroes of tennis."

The star also thanked everyone for appreciating his efforts and beliefs throughout his amazing career. The list is very prestigious as it includes only those who have revolutionized the sport.
Besides Aisam, others included in the list are Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Rod Laver to name a few. Aisam is the only Pakistani tennis player to have reached the final of a Grand Slam, competing in both mixed doubles and men's doubles at the US Open. He was also awarded with the Pakistan President's Award for Performance in 2002, the Salam Pakistan Youth Award by the President of Pakistan in 2007 and was even a runner-up for the 2003 Anne Frank Award For Moral Courage by the Anne Frank Trust, UK.
With another feather in his cap, HIP would like to congratulate Aisam ul Haq on this great achievement and we hope he continues to make Pakistan even more proud in the coming years.
