The past year has been great for the Kami Sid starrer short film Rani which revolved around a transgender who refuses to indulge in socially unacceptable activities to earn her livelihood. After winning an European award last month as well as numerous accolades in various film festivals the world over, the film is now finally ready to premiere in Pakistan.

Yes guys, the news is absolutely true as revealed to us by CEO of Grayscale, who produced the short film. Akbar Allana shared, "Rani will be premiering on the 3rd March at the 10th Karachi Literature Festival and after this we plan to hold multiple screenings in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad at various universities, cultural centres and perhaps other festivals too."
