Hamza Ali Abbasi has been loved for his charming personality and his stellar performances in dramas and films. He has excelled in cinema recently with films like Parwaaz Hai Junoon bringing him more fame and popularity. However, he is not just famous for his acting but also for his bold status updates on Facebook and vehement opinions on Twitter. He has always been vocal about his views, whether it comes to issues in society or human rights. He also has had his fair share of controversies thanks to his stern outlook on things and issues, which also includes speaking up time and again for the Kashmiri people who are under stringent Indian occupation. Yesterday, the actor and social activist once again tweeted in support of the Kashmiris and ‘advised’ the Indian Army to leave Kashmir.
Hamza’s tweet came after an attack on the Indian soldiers in occupied Kashmir that left 44 of the Indian Army personnel dead. According to news, the attack on the Indian soldiers took place when a suicide car bomber hit his vans into the bus carrying soldiers in occupied Kashmir. The bus was a part of the convoy of 78 vehicles, carrying some 2,500 members of the paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force. In their support, Hamza tweeted that: "I am not celebrating the death of these soldiers but Kashmiris don’t want Indian Army occupation and my advice to the Indian Army: LEAVE KASHMIR!"
