Renowned Pakistani pop singer Annie Khalid lambasted Reham Khan, ex-wife of PM Imran Khan and called her ‘a traitor’ in a tweet. Her tweet was in response to Reham’s disappointing remarks on Imran Khan’s speech post Pulwama Attack, in an interview with an Indian TV Channel, India Today.

“If you can’t be loyal to your own country who even are you,” Annie tweeted.

In the interview with the Indian TV channel, Reham heavily criticized Prime Minister Khan and the government’s response to Pulwama attack and replied positively to questions posed by the host of the show to damage Pakistan’s image.

She also supported the conviction that PM’s speech, post-Pulwama attack was not his extempore speech. It was scripted, heavily censored by the Military and Establishment and had multiple edits.

Her anti-Pakistan statements in the interview has severely angered Pakistanis and she is being heavily criticized on social media.
