Baaji is an upcoming film starring Meera, Osman Khalid Butt, Ali Kazmi and model turned actress Amna Ilyas amongst others. Directed by Saqib Malik, the intense drama-thriller will mark the first onscreen appearance for Meera Jee and Osman Khalid Butt together.

Osman, while announcing his role in the film, wrote, “People who've followed me since way back know what an absolute fan of Meera's I am - it's been (and remains) a fantastic journey, and I cannot WAIT to share more news with you guys.” On working on the film with her, Osman said in an interview, “Meera is not merely an actor, she is an institution, a force of nature. Passionate about dancing, Osman has previously choreographed theatrical performances, been the Director of Choreography for Parchi, and now is set to become the Director of Choreography for a song in Baaji as well! Not only that, he also announced that he is going to be the Creative Director as well as the lyricist for a “very special song” of Baaji!

Apart from being an exceptional actor and dancer, he is also a successful writer, having written the screenplay for the hit film Janaan. He also previously shared a very well written and heartfelt piece of his poetry on his social media, so we find it easy to believe that he will do a great job writing lyrics for a Baaji song as well.
