Whenever we hear that Mehwish Hayat has signed on for a film we always get very excited as she is an actress whose appearance on the big screen has always been larger than life . With films like Jaawani Phir Nahi Aani, Main Punjab Nahi Jaongi, and Load Wedding under her belt we have been looking forward to her latest project which is being directed by Wajahat Rauf and will mark the third film for the producer .

Along with Mehwish we will also see Zara Noor Abbas who already has a film coming out this year called Paray Hut Love. Now with all of us aware that Wajahat was busy shooting for the movie, its title was kept well under wraps till now!

Yes guys, today the name of the movie has been revealed and it is called Chhalawa and will be releasing this year on Eid ul Fitr.

With its first look also out we simply loved the vibrant colours and of course the introduction of all the cast which besides the ladies also includes Azfar Rehman , Asad Siddiqui , Aashir Wajahat and the legendary Mehmood Aslam.

With Wajahat taking to Social media to announce the title and release date, he wrote,

'Announcing my third film today. May Allah give us success, respect and a great reception by audiences throughout the world'.

To be distributed by Hum Films, another thing we liked was the music of the films which may have been revealed for a second but already has caught our interest as it sounds very peppy and up beat.

So a story which looks like a light-hearted comedy, we cant wait to see Chhalawa which has a great cast on-board and will hopefully capture the audiences as well as our interest too.
