New Zealand is one of the peaceful nations of the world but unfortunately, 50 Muslims got killed and more than 25 got seriously injured in mass shooting at two mosques in New Zealand. The incident occurred when the people were offering Friday prayers in the mosque.
The worst part is that the shooter went live on Facebook while he was killing the innocent people in the mosque and he kept on shooting for around 10 to 15 minutes. A spokesperson for Facebook New Zealand, Mia Garlick, said, “New Zealand Police alerted us to a video on Facebook shortly after the Livestream commenced and we removed both the shooter's Facebook account and the video. We're also removing any praise or support for the crime and the shooter or shooters as soon as we're aware.”
6 players of the Bangladesh Cricket Team including the team captain Tamim Iqbal were also present in the mosque but they managed to escape from there and the test match they were playing against New Zealand has been called off.
