Directed by Hassan Rana and produced by MindWorks Media, ‘Yalghaar’ is a film based on a true story of Pakistan Army’s Swat Operation Rah-e-Rast. The film portrays the lives of young passionate officers and soldiers that served in the 2008 Piochar operation that lasted for at least 76 hours against the Tehreek-e-Taliban Militants.
Released in 2017, Yalghaar made around Rs.20 crores on the box office. After two years of hitting the big screen, the film has now been released on the streaming podium vidly.pk. Among the cast of 150 characters, some big names of the Pakistan Film Industry are very prominent. Shaan Shahid, Armeena Rana Khan, Bilal Ashraf, Humayun Saeed, Sana Bucha, Ayesha Omar, Bilal Ashraf, Hassan Rana, and Gohar Rasheed are a part of this film that is full of action.
Yalghaar is a result of a lot of effort and hard work done by the entire team. Humayun Saeed, who plays the role of a militant, spent many days with the captured militants in order to prepare for his role. A huge number of heavy ammo and choppers were used for the movie.
The two-and-a-half-hour action movie is now available for digital viewing.
