The patriotic Pakistan Air Force Film starring Mikaal Zulfikar, Armeena Khan, and Hassan Niazi is truly ruling the box office. The reviews of the film weren’t impressive but the film did well. One of the reasons can be the accurate timings of the film release as the patriotism level of the citizens of Pakistan is at its peak due to the recent dispute between Pakistan and India and how well Pakistan Air Force performed in this situation.
On the other hand, Kamal Khan's direction Laal Kabootar starring Mansha Pasha and Ahmed Ali Butt also did well.
Both of these films got released on 23rd March- Pakistan Day. If we talk about numbers, Sherdil’s earnings until now are Rs6.55crores while Laal Kabootar earned Rs1.66crores. There is no competition between the two as the genre of these two films is completely different and Sherdil obviously have the support of Air Force but we really hope that these two films do well at their own places because at the end, it is for the better of Pakistan and we really need to improve the standard of our movies and the number of our cinemas.
Laal Kabootar’s producers said, "As a small film the strongest marketing tool at our behest is actually our customer. People walking out of the cinema after watching our film have been highly recommending it to friends and family, be it on social media or otherwise. Where other films can spend big on marketing, our focus has been on presenting a product that markets itself. Our box office has shown very stable numbers over the course of the first week. And so we are excited to move into the second week to see how well we continue to perform."
Let’s see how Project Ghazi competes with these two films.
