Ali Sethi’s Chandni Raat Mix - A Captivating Melody

An artist whose success endures the longest is someone who develops an identifying trademark in their style- when you hear their song, you know it’s them. A master of his craft at a young age, Ali Sethi has managed to imprint his soft vocals and tunes in our minds. His recent single, Chandni Raat garnered high critical acclaim as well as mainstream attention. Ali Sethi has now released the first ever mix of the song titled Moonlit Nite - French Horn Mix.
The first-ever mix of his famous song is his first vocal take, and his soulful voice instantly takes all the attention. The softness in his voice lulls you into another universe, soft but steady, and it is hard to imagine that this could be his first voice take. Moonlit Nite uses a soft piano, and a puttering beat to paint a dark and heartfelt picture in your mind. Besides the snazzy trumpets and horns, the real hero of the song is his vocals, comforting and have a classical tint to it as they always do. The vocals are the same as the original track, though it is endearing to see how the music has given his vocals a new life.

His voice is accompanied just the piano and horns played wonderfully by Jordan Katz. The mix seems close to his heart, as he has left a message in his video description saying,
I heard this mix a few weeks ago and felt, as one often does, that there’s a specialness about it, an unfiltered quality that conveys the original intention. I also recall Noah saying that the unobstructed horns give the song a “cool New York vibe.”
