Amir made his first appearance on PTV with Shab-e-Maghfirat, a special transmission on the occasion of Shab-e-Barat...
Amir Liaquat Hussain has been hosting the Ramadan transmissions on different TV channels for a long time. He has always been in the headlines for one thing or another. PEMRA has banned him from TV a number of times but he always comes back to entertain the audience in his own unique style. He is not just a TV host but a politician as well as he has been a Minister of State for religious affairs from 2004 to 2007 and has also been appointed as MNA is Imran Khan’s new government.
Amir started his career as a radio broadcaster and then joined PTV but he was fired shortly. After that, he worked with ARY, GEO, and BOL but couldn’t stay in any of these TV channels for a long time. He is known for the controversies but it is surprising to see that the state broadcaster, Pakistan Television Network has given him a chance to host the Ramadan transmission. The Ramadan transmission is named as “Hamara Ramadan” and will be aired on PTV, PTV national, PTV News, PTV Bolan, and PTV Global.
Amir made his first appearance on PTV with Shab-e-Maghfirat, a special transmission on the occasion of Shab-e-Barat. He was not just hosting the show but singing Naats as well. Amir announced in the show that he will be hosting the Ramadan transmission on PTV.
This is not the end as Amir will also be hosting “Shab-e-Wajdan” from 10 pm to 12 am in the night and will be hosting the Sehr transmission, “Alam on Air” as well.
Let’s hope that Amir hosts the show well and without any controversies, as it is not a private TV channel this time, it is the state broadcaster PTV.
