Prominent Television Drama Director Syed Atif Hussain passed away at Agha Khan Hospital Karachi. Atif gave more than 25 years of his life for the revival of Pakistani dramas. He was on the ventilator for 48 hours and died due to kidney failure. Everyone was praying for his health but Allah Almighty has some other plans for him and the director left this world for eternal peace.

“Baban Khala Ki Betiyan” was the last drama directed by the Atif. His friends and fans are very sad and depressed after his death as it was shocking news for many of them.

Atif’s close friend and CEO of Funa Films, Furqan Siddiqui shared Atif’s picture on his Facebook timeline.

Another Director and Writer, Rafay Rashdi also took the news to Facebook and called it absolutely tragic news.

TV actor Muneeb Butt was also shocked to hear the news.

So was Asim Mehmood.

Omair Alavi appreciated Atif’s contribution to the industry and prayed for his forgiveness.

Samina Peerzada also prayed for Atif’s soul.

The rockstar, Umair Jaswal also took to Twitter and prayed for his soul.

Sanam Baloch is sad to hear about the dismissal of her mentor, friend, and guide.

Nabeel Qureshi also prayed for Atif and his family.

Adnan Siddiqui is deeply saddened to hear about the demise of Syed Atif Hussain and called him one of the finest producer and director our industry had.
