Eid is around the corner; the exciting festive holidays are probably the most awaited dates on the calendar; eating high octane feast, spending quality time with family – friends and most importantly getting Eidi from elders makes Eid every bit of fun and memorable. Likewise, the entertainment industry has always managed to draw our attention by bringing up fun-filled telefilms that keep us entertained; giving us a break from the routine drama serials.
Hira and Mani are all set to give their fans the perfect Eidi with their upcoming telefilm ‘Dil Toh Baccha Hai Je’. The USP of the project is the on-screen pairing of the real-life duo after many years. We at HIP got in touch with Hira to know more.
Excited about being associated with the project she said: “I am very excited to play comic characters as I started my career with comedy. I am busy doing serious and romantic drama serials and get to do comedy via telefilms only. Comedy has been my first preference and what a better way to do it with Mani. ‘Dil Toh Baccha Hai Je’ is a fun ride with a powerhouse cast Asma Abbas, Mehmood Aslam, and Behroz Sabzwari. One can imagine the presence of two great comedians Behroz and Mehmood would bring loads of laughter to the table”.
Hira was all praises for Mani: “The flavour of Mani is at its best; I really enjoyed working with him after so long. I believe Mani is one of those sitcom actors who possess impeccable comedy timing and somehow I couldn’t match up with it, however, I’ve managed to give my best amongst the great star cast”.
She added: “It was like working with family on sets, I had a great time; it was my first work experience with director Erum Binte Shahid and I have to say she is effortless; we didn’t feel like shooting and wrapped up the scenes within no time. It’s a good Eid product that will surely be a treat for the audience”.
'Dil Toh Baccha Hai Je’ is written by Rizwan Zaidi and produced by Erum Binte Shahid Production House (Evolution Media).
