The Pakistani drama industry can sometimes be brutal and let's face it, we do not like it as audiences at all. Recently the Maalik and Parchi famed actor Faizan Shaikh took to his social media and lashed out on HUM TV and Moomal Productions on the un-just behaviour towards his sister Rabya Kulsoom Rehan.
Apparently, the production house including the assistant director Saif Khan harassed her on sets of Meer Abru when she asked for some time to travel during the shoot and was decided too beforehand. Later they apologised for their violent behaviour too. But when the payment cheque was sent to Rabya, it was broken down from Moomal Productions and the amount that was supposed to be paid to end was not even close to what Rabya worked for.
Faizan Shaikh lashed out and left a question for the audience that is it justified? For us, it is totally not acceptable, because an actor is an artist and he/she serves with passion and a lot of hard work is involved within it. And an actor should not be treated unjustly and entirely discriminatory.
