Cheekh is a Pakistani crime drama serial that gained instant fame from the moment it started. Zanjabeel Asim's script is unique of its kind and this is what has made it stand out from the rest of the dramas. Director Badar Mehmood has also done his best along with the entire cast who has put its 100 per cent in Cheekh's execution.
The drama was running at a good pace but since the last two episodes, the story now seems dragged which we didn't expect at all. Mannat and Shayan's misery of losing their child is given so much importance that now it feels completely unnecessary. This part of the story could have been convincing enough to show Mannat all determined for her case but this didn't happen any Cheekh seems to be moving away from its focus.
Here, a special mention needs to be given to veteran actor Shabbir Jan who is doing exceptionally well in his character of Lawyer Aqil Zada. The negative vibes he is emitting is applaud-able that is making the audience grit its teeth.
Court has accepted Mannat's lawyer's request of carrying out a forensic test on Wajih and though the story should have ended after the test and the truth be revealed, it still seems far away. Aqil Zada is firm on leaving no stones unturned to remove Mannat from his way so that he wins the case and his repo remains intact. Yawar seems confused to support him and Wajih in their wicked plans but he is unable to say it out loud despite feeling for Shayan equally.
On the other hand, Mannat's mother is being threatened on phone calls to stop Mannat from appearing in court yet Shayan ensures her to not worry. He has decided that now he will fight this case for the sake of his lost child despite Mannat losing further strength and determination to fight this case because the whole ordeal has weakened her mentally.

The justice should be served soon else the audience is already feeling Cheekh dragged now and that shouldn't have happened seeing how promising the promos looked when Cheekh first started.
