Even though Ramazan’s coming to an end, Dolly and Mustaqeem’s shenanigans are still on an all-time high. This light-hearted comedic show has us hooked with the catchy dialogues, the hilarious dumbness, and the brilliant portrayal by Nadia Khan and Aijaz Aslam. You might’ve come for the comedy, but you would want to stay for the performances. Dolly Darling is produced by 7th Sky Entertainment under the production duo Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi.
After finding out that Bemisaal’s engagement ring is fake, both the women throw a tantrum which makes Mustaqeem realize that Dolly would not be happy upon finding out about her own fake ring. Mustaqeem is now fearing for his life and relationship running around trying to get that fake ring replaced with an original one, and it is downright hilarious.
Among all the childish endeavours, you see that the characters are not just based on their one-liners and comedic dialogues, but they do carry strong personalities. Nadia Khan stands out the most with her portrayal of Dolly, who is truly a darling. She is childish, hilariously dumb, but still has a good and pure heart. All her intentions are always pure, and she is always smiling and happy.
Apart from Aijaz Aslam and Nadia Khan’s comedic performances, Uroosa Siddiqui as Bemisaal and Ali Rizvi as Andesha also deserve all the appreciation for bringing their much needed comedic charm in the drama. All in all, indulging into an episode of Dolly Darling every day is the best relaxant you could have asked for!
