Sania Mirza Wants Rubbish Advertisements to Stop Creating Hype Between the Pakistan / India Match!

The most intense cricket rivalry is back as Pakistan and India are all set to face each other on 16th June in a World Cup match. Like all of us, Sania Mirza, the Indian tennis star and the wife of Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik is looking forward to the Pakistan India World Cup match but she is pissed off at the way people are cashing the tensed situation and making these rubbish advertisements to increase the hype between the two countries.

An Indian advertisement compared the match with a Father-Son relationship as the game coincides with Father's Day which will be observed on June 16.
On the other hand, a Pakistani advertisement mocked Indian Air Force Wing Commander Abhinandan in an advertisement. A video in which Abhinandan was being questioned by the Pakistani officials was shared on social media during his capture, and now a similar video has been made by the broadcaster where an Abhinandan lookalike was asked some cricket related questions.
These are just two examples, there are many other ads on the same topic and some others are yet to be aired on television.
Sania took the matter to Twitter where she said, “Cringeworthy ads on both sides of the border seriously guys, you don’t need to ‘hype up’ or market the match anymore especially with rubbish! it has enough attention already! It’s only cricket for God sake, and if you think it’s any more than that then get a grip or get a life.”
India and Pakistan have faced each other six times in the World Cup and each time, India won the match. This will be their 7th meeting in ICC Cricket World Cup and we are really looking forward to it. May the best team wins.
