The National civilian award winner and Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat finally replied to the backlash she had been receiving since the release of her item number Gangster Guriya, from movie Baaji.

Two days ago, Mehwish Hayat took to her Twitter to make it clear that it is her own choice to do whatever she feels is good. She wrote:

‘To do these dance numbers has been my choice. As an actress and performer, it is my job. As a woman I find my work empowering. Dance to me is aesthetically the purest form of art.’

Earlier, Baaji movie star Osman Khalid Butt was also quick to respond to all the critics and schooled them for using abusive and foul language against the actress. Many fans and critics called out Mehwish Hayat for misinterpreting Pakistani culture.

Late on Friday night, Osman Khalid butt replied to a self-proclaimed ‘social influencer’ when he used abusive language for Mehwish.

Prior to the backlash when Mehwish uploaded her song’s link, she wrote how proud she was on her yet another cameo after 5 years.

Movie Baaji is all set to be released on 28th June 2019.
