Wajahat Rauf’s directorial Chhalawa, starring Mehwish Hayat, Azfar Rehman, Zara Noor Abbas and Asad Siddiqui among others, saw its release on Eid-ul-Fitr this year. The movie has garnered good reviews and has been loved by the audiences, doing a fairly decent business at the local box office. While most of the songs were released earlier, the makers have now dropped a very emotional number from the movie titled, ‘Mandhaniyan’.

Starting with soft and subtle background music, Mandhaniyan is a soothing score sung beautifully by Neha Chaudhry and Haadi Uppal. All about love, family and relationships, the song is a true treat for those who love slow music with meaningful lyrics. Although the lyrics are a mix of Punjabi and Urdu, one goes all emotional and teary-eyed when listening to it with full focus. The video of the song depicts the main story of the movie, giving us an insight into what the movie is all about.
