Cheekh started off with a very unique story and thus gained immediate popularity among other dramas. The script and plot looked very promising and so did the cast. The story revolves around crime and how the rich use money to wipe off their sins. It also portrayed the weak judicial system of the country where in order to get justice, one has to pay a huge price.
Since the last few episodes, the only thing happening in the drama is a tragedy after tragedy falling on Mannat and Shayan. One after the other. The same drama that kept the audience hooked is now making them grit their teeth and lose their calm.
Though we got to see the very best of skills from all the actors of the drama that spoke for the best direction from Badar Mehmood, the story now seems to deviate from its focus and that is unable to keep us glued to our TV screens
The entire episode revolved around Mannat's mother's death. There was nothing interesting to see except excessive crying and sad scenes. The only ray of happiness was to see Shehwar attending the funeral and regarding them still as her family. This hinted that in the upcoming court hearing, maybe she will present herself as a witness to listen Wajih confessing his crime.
Aqil Zada has ordered the psychiatrist to inject heavy doses in Mannat so that she permanently gets mentally disabled. This was unacceptable to watch because Shayan is himself a doctor. How can he not ask for the prescription and see what medicines are being given to her? Wajih is, as usual, the most irritating person in the drama and not a single thing is affecting his emotions.

It's a high time now that something positive is shown in Cheekh otherwise it is already losing its charm in the eyes of its viewers.
