Daughter of the famous Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor worked with Fawad Khan in an Indian film, ‘Khoobsurat’ and it seems that Sonam really loved her co-star since then. In a recent interview, Sonam said, “I can’t explain how difficult it was to make ‘Aisha’. Do you know how much effort it took to make ‘Khoobsurat’? No hero wanted to work with me because it was called ‘Khoobsurat’. I had to get Fawad Khan from Pakistan. And look at what happened. Fawad became a huge star. He had confidence.”

Sonam is right to some extent because Khoobsurat opened up the ways for Fawad as he performed in a number of Bollywood movies since then. He was part of some famous Bollywood movies including ‘Kapoor and Sons’ and ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.

Moreover, Soman mentioned, "Initially, when I came in the industry, everyone said she’s born with a silver spoon, they alleged nepotism, etc. They didn’t know that I had auditioned for Saawariya (2007), I had auditioned for Delhi 6 (2009) and that I’ve auditioned for every film I’ve worked in. I just was able to have the initial meeting. That was it.”

This is not the first time Sonam praised Fawad, she has been passing really good comments about him in the past as well. Sonam once said in a talk show that she looks the best with Fawad Khan on screen. Even Fawad has admitted that he was emotionally attached to Sonam and he really enjoys her company.

They have also performed together in a Pakistani advertisement and Soman is really looking forward to working with Fawad again. She said, “Art has no boundaries. I think Fawad was a consummate professional. We had great chemistry and I look forward to working with him again.”
