Shoaib Malik has recently announced that the World Cup tournament will be his last stretch as he will say a farewell to the ODI's shortly after. He tweeted about his decision posting:
"Today I retire from One Day International cricket. Huge Thank you to all the players I have played with, coaches I have trained under, family, friends, media, and sponsors. Most importantly my fans, I love you all, #PakistanZindabad," Malik wrote.
The famed all-rounder decided to leave the ODIs after Pakistan played a 94-runs win over Bangladesh in their last ICC World Cup 2019 match at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground on Friday.
Soon his wife, Sania Mirza dedicated a tweet to her husband, Shoaib Malik and on behalf of their son, Izhaan Mirza Malik. She shared how proud they both are of everything he has achieved in a career spanning 20 years.
